Es gibt genügend Männer, die über Metal schreiben oder sprechen, aber viel zu wenig andere Stimmen. METALLOSOPHY fügt eine weibliche Sicht auf die schwarzen Künste (und alles dahinter…) hinzu, denn harte Musik ist so viel mehr als nur Nerdtum und Nostalgie, Metal ist gerade trotz ihrer allumfassenden Dunkelheit eine bunte, explorative Lebensform, die sich ständig neu erfindet. Und genau darum soll es hier gehen: um die Leidenschaft für Riffs, tiefer als der Marianengraben, und die vielfältige Kultur, die daraus entstand und sich immer weiterentwickelt.
Denn das ist ein weiterer Schwerpunkt dieser Seite: Metal existiert nicht nur in Symbiose mit Okkultem und Spirituellem, er bietet auch Raum für Grenzüberschreitung und neue künstlerische Verbindungen innerhalb und ausserhalb des Genres.
